This is the Sacred Hear School - Ateneo de Cebu school logo. All of the students that study in SHS-AdC was taught the meaning of this logo. Now, I shall enlighten you as to what it means for us. The red background with the stripes and the yellow background is the coat of arms of St. Ignatius' family or House. The wolves there are fighting over the food inside the pot. The eagle is a symbol that has various meanings for the various Atenean schools. For us, the eagle symbolizes our goal to fly higher and to do more and be more. The word "Lux Oriens" means a light arising in the land of the morning. This is only a short statement to make you more familiar with our school seal. You can ask any Ateneo Hearter out there what this school seal means for them. You might get different answers but the same will be true...This seal embodies who we are and who we aspire to be.
